Articule Technological tools for teaching adolescents: a challenge from neuroeducation
Technological tools have made our lives easier. Having all
the information at your fingertips is one of the greatest advances of the
century. However, in the context of higher education institutions, technology
allows access to new knowledge that science has developed, but how do we
stimulate the interest of young people to learn to identify, appropriate,
implement and improve it?
However, responsibility is required for the proper use of
these tools. The challenge is that all the actors involved in the educational
context must appropriate the level of neurological maturation of the brain and
the point at which it is predetermined for learning depending on the stage of
the life cycle where it is.
A phone has the immense capacity to handle everything from
videos to bank accounts, speeding up life itself and becoming a tool and even a
means of work.
By the other hand, you can also access sensitive or
entertainment material that hinders a person's performance and generates a
negative dependency on social media.
A responsible, measured and conscious use is required to
maximize the good use of cellphones and that they do not become an addiction but
combining it with the level of brain maturation of adolescents in favor of
educational quality.
